McLeish Estate has been a cornerstone of the Hunter Valley since 1985, when Robert and Maryanne McLeish planted their first Semillon and Chardonnay vines on their Pokolbin property. Over the decades, the family has built a reputation for crafting premium warm‑climate wines that embody the region’s hallmark freshness and elegance. Their commitment to quality has earned them an impressive list of accolades, including World’s Best Semillon at the 2016 London International Wine Challenge and Australia’s White Wine of the Year in 2014.
Now guided by the second generation, with daughter Jessica involved in the estate’s future, McLeish continues to champion excellence in Australia’s oldest wine region. NV Duke Cuvee (Blanc de Blanc)
100% Chardonnay grapes crafted in the classic French style. Aromas of melon, citrus and green apple. The palate consists of complex nutty and yeasty characters with stone fruit characteristics. Oak matured for 11 months giving it a toasty note
2025 Estate Semillon
Fermented on lees for 6 months. Bright and playful acidity with floral aromas, lime and lemon zest on the palate.
2021 Reserve Semillon
Rated 95/100. An exceptionally balanced palate with a blend of minerality and cream. Ideal for spiced foods or seafood. Notes of lemon and finger lime can be found on both the nose and palate.
2025 Auld Killie Semillon
A local favourite. Off-Dry Semillon. Notes of pink lady apples, quince and key lime pie. Crafted in a similar style of the Mosel Rieslings.
2024 Chelsea (Semillon & Chardonnay)
A special blend of the Hunter Valleys most well known white varietals. Giving the best of both worlds. Notes of stone fruit, lemon and grassy aromas.
2025 Dwyer Rosé
100% Merlot. Exceptionally pale in colour with notes of cherry, Turkish delight, manuka honey and cranberries. The palate is delightfully dry with balanced acidity.
2024 McLeish Merlot
Single Vineyard variety, 10 months maturation period in American barriques. Bursting with notes of cherry, plum and strawberry. The palate is medium bodied and approachable.
2024 McLeish Cabernet Sauvignon
Old vine Cabernet Sauvignon with tasting notes of black forest fruits, olice and mulberry. A supple and elegant palate that evolves in the glass.
2024 McLeish Shiraz
Well balanced, classic Hunter Valley Shiraz. Notes of pink peppercorn, spice, cherry and plum.
2018 Reserve Shiraz
This vintage shows precision and focus, revealing a vibrant palate of black cherry and ripe plum tannins, complemented by anise, concentrated mocha, and cedar.
2023 ‘Jessica’s’ Botrytis
Increibly fresh and balanced with honey and acidity. Notes of Tropical fruits.
